A look back at July’s goals

Back at the start of July I set myself goals to hit for the month and being completely honest I don’t think I’ve done that great at hitting them.

Let’s take a look back at the goals I set and see how I managed to get on shall we.

First goal was one that I also set for last months goals and hit it and it was to be more efficient with my time and don’t waste my days off, now I started off the month great with this but nearing the end of the month I just sorta fell off track, I was working a lot, had a family matter & didn’t want to put pressure on myself to get posts published when all I wanted was a bit of down time. I feel like I try my best when it comes to blogging but yes there are days when all I wanna do is lie on the sofa and bingewatch some tv.

Second goal and something I 100% didn’t hit was to have at least 50-100 views on each post I published, I would say this wasn’t my greatest month of blogging but hey we all have highs and lows when it comes to blogging and I would have to say that this month is a low month for me.

Third goal was to gain between 10-20 new WordPress followers and this is one of the goals I actually hit woohoo!!! I mean I only gained 11 new followers but to be quite honest as long as people enjoy what I write then that’s all I really care about.

4th goal was to beat my views for the month of June & I told you that this wasn’t a very good month for me and the views just prove that I ended the month of July on 326 views that’s 300 less views than June. This kinda makes me a little sad because I love what I do and I just want more people to enjoy it too.

Okay now this one I’m kinda confused about, my 5th and final goal for July was to get at least 1 collab, now I’m gonna tell you a little story. I saw a post on facebook in one of the blogger opportunities pages and I thought hey why don’t I just send over what they need and see if they get back to me, a week or so later I got an email to say they wanted to collab with me along with many other bloggers, I got so excited about this, although it wasn’t paid I didn’t even care I was excited to just get the experience. So again I emailed over everything they needed, my blog url & address to send me over the products, I sent this email in the middle of July and haven’t heard anything else since & now I’m just like what do I do. So yeah pretty sure this doesn’t count as my 1 collab but it almost does and I’m happy with that.

I’m hoping August is going to be a good month for my blog.

Until next time
